Terms of Service

1. Service
Korean Data MCP Hub ("the Service") provides API access to Korean media trend data via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Operated by the Korean Data MCP Hub team. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. Pricing
- Pay-per-call: USD $0.005 per tool invocation
- Free trial: $5 credit on signup (~1,000 calls), no card required
- Top-up tiers: $10, $25, $50, $100
- Auto top-up (opt-in): when balance falls below your chosen threshold, we charge your saved card for your chosen amount
- Enterprise: contact enterprise@korean-data.com
- All payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes, invoicing, and consumer-transaction compliance.
3. Acceptable Use
- Each call deducts $0.005 from your balance
- Free trial: 24-hour cooldown on identical search queries (lifts after first paid top-up)
- Prohibited: reselling raw data, scraping our infrastructure, sharing your API key, bot-like usage (sustained 100+ calls/min), reverse engineering
- We may suspend keys showing abuse patterns
4. Data
Content is sourced from Korean media organizations and processed via clustering and LLM classification. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The Service is provided "as is".
5. Auto Top-up
By enabling auto top-up you authorize us, via Paddle, to charge your saved payment method when your balance falls below your configured threshold. Disable anytime at https://korean-data.com/dashboard.
6. Refunds
Summary: any paid top-up is fully refundable within 14 days of the charge, regardless of usage. Service-outage refunds are not time-limited. Free trial credit is not refundable (no payment taken). Separate abuse / fraud provisions apply. See https://korean-data.com/refund.
7. API Key
- Plaintext key is shown to you exactly once (signup + welcome email + rotation)
- We never store or re-display the plaintext
- Rotate at https://korean-data.com/dashboard if compromised
8. Availability
Target 99% uptime. No formal SLA on per-call pricing. We are not liable for downtime beyond the refund commitments in §6.
9. Termination
- You: stop using = no further charges; remaining credit stays in your account
- Us: we may terminate for material ToS violation with 7 days notice; unused credit is refundable
10. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim is the lesser of (a) total payments you made in the prior 90 days or (b) USD $200. No liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Disputes
Contact us first at support@korean-data.com. Payment disputes can also be raised via Paddle at paddle.com/support. Chargebacks without prior contact may result in account suspension.
12. Changes
Material changes: 30 days email notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
