Refund Policy

Korean Data MCP Hub is a prepaid, pay-per-call API service. We offer a clean, unconditional refund window on every paid top-up.

TL;DR

  • 14-day full refund: any paid top-up is fully refundable within 14 days of the charge, no questions asked, regardless of usage.
  • Service outages: top-ups affected by service unavailability are refunded in full.
  • Free trial credit ($5 on signup): not refundable, because no payment was taken.
  • Abuse & fraud: separately from the refund right above, we deny refunds where we detect abuse or fraud (see "Abuse & Fraud Prevention" below).

1. 14-Day Refund Right

Any paid top-up is fully refundable within 14 days of the charge. This right is unconditional — your usage during that period does not affect it. Email refunds@korean-data.com with your Paddle transaction ID; we process approved refunds within 1 business day via Paddle to your original payment method.

2. Service Outages

If a service outage affects a period you paid for, that top-up is refunded in full. Outage-related refunds are not time-limited.

3. Free Trial Credit

The $5 signup credit is not refundable, because no payment was taken for it.

4. Cancellation

There is nothing to cancel — credit does not auto-renew. Stop using the API and you stop spending. Remaining balance stays in your account. You can disable auto top-up anytime at https://korean-data.com/dashboard.

5. Abuse & Fraud Prevention

The 14-day refund right above is offered to good-faith customers. We separately reserve the right to deny refunds and suspend accounts where we detect abuse or fraud, including: bot-like usage, API key sharing across many IPs, repeated top-up → refund cycles, reverse engineering or scraping beyond normal API use, and chargebacks filed without contacting us first. These provisions exist to protect the service for legitimate users and are not intended to limit the 14-day refund right for normal, good-faith use.

6. Payment Processor

Paddle.com acts as Merchant of Record and processes payments and refunds on our instruction. You may contact Paddle at paddle.com/support for billing questions.

7. Disputes

Email refunds@korean-data.com first — we resolve most cases within 1 business day. If unresolved, escalate to Paddle support. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in account suspension and associated fees.
